Join the Irish Research Staff Association at the VIRTUAL 2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM).
IrishRSA represents salaried research staff in Ireland, including researchers within research staff associations and individual researchers who lack representation through an RSA, and to advocate for their common interests at a national and international level in particular towards the goal of sustainable research careers. We have hosted 2 forums on research careers and policy to facilitate a discussion on matters of importance for researchers. Our Board is actively involved in various committees, taskforces and forums, providing contribution and consultation to submissions, position statements, reports, etc. and, therefore, giving research staff and researchers a collective voice in Ireland.
Our guest speaker is Prof Cláudia S. Sarrico, who will present the OECD Report “Reducing the precarity of academic research careers”.
Election Nominations
One of the main focuses of the AGM will be the election of the IrishRSA committee for the upcoming year. All nominations including self-nominations are welcome and must be submitted to irishrsa@gmail.com no later than 5pm on 21 September 2022.
In order to further strengthen our outreach and advocate on behalf of research staff, we are looking for new Committee members. In particular, we are keen to elect a new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Officer.
